What are you listening to?
I mostly listen to 20s-40s music, especially big band, jazz/swing. Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, Monica Zetterlund (try her out!!), Renee Olstead, Stacey Kent, Bobby Darin are some of my favorites, but nothing beats Cole Porters work. Oh, I was an extra in that film! You should have been on location. Karl Johan (the main street of Oslo City) was looking exactly like it did in the 40s, which was amazing!
