    Jacket Fit Opinion Needed.

Nope. ldmax, I want you to consider whether you'd like that jacket two inches tighter across your belly for the sake of having shoulders that look slightly better to A2 purists, or a comfortable jacket? When you have that answer worked out in your mind, you'll know what you should do.

    Need some help, please

It's very hard to tell in that small photo, mate. My guess is on something German, but I could be wrong. This might help you: http://arms2armor.com/Bayonets/bayonets.htm Goodluck :)

What's the difference between a trenchcoat and a duster?

Oh come on, I post a pic of George W. and Vladamir Putin wearing Australia's version of the Duster in a thread about Dusters... and no one has anything to say? Come on guys!!!

    Jacket Fit Opinion Needed.

Well, I think you recognise, via your question, that it's not a traditional A2 fit. My opinion is that, to go down a size in this make of jacket, you're going to find it even harder to zip up -- and you're not going to solve the way the arms are gathering up, anyway. So you'd be making the...

And, while I'm at it, allow me to throw a cat among the pigeons... What's wrong with a good bridge coat instead? ;) http://www.cctaylor.com/cart.php?m=product_detail&p=259

    Peacoat repros or similar items

Peacoats are a dime a dozen out there. I think 100 of us could reply with a different link each. Aside from those mentioned, US Wings knocks out a nice one: http://www.uswings.com/peacoat.asp

Wested... go Doctor Who/Das Boot or go custom?

I was thinking that, myself. If I wore an L, I think I'd find the arms were way too long.

    Buying an ipod

Interesting... see, when I got my 20GB iPod, it had a charger in the box, very similar to the one in the picture there. Are they now skimping on putting chargers in with the units?

    Do you collect military medals?

That is a really interesting tale. There are actually a number of 'unofficial' medals that have been struck over the years. I'm thinking of a WWII group I have that has a "Tobruk Medal" at the very end of the row of medals -- an unofficial medal made, I believe, by a Tobruk association, many...

Wested... go Doctor Who/Das Boot or go custom?

It really depends on the cut of the jacket in question. Ordering an 'L' fitting will only add two inches, or so, to most jackets. So if the jacket's cut to mid thigh, ordering an 'L' will make it a little longer, but certainly not take it down near one's mid-calf! :)

Wested... go Doctor Who/Das Boot or go custom?

Thanks for that, mate. Good to get that length measurement. And, incidentally, I don't need to convince; I already have the quote from them to do it in horsehide :eusa_clap Right now I just have to work out what I want. I put on a favourite coat last night, for example, and although it doesn't...
