    Burnishing a vintage jacket.

    I bought a thrift store tan leather jacket. Is it possible to burnish the edges of the jacket or give it a burnished effect through some other technique? Anyone try something like this? Jacket didn't cost much so I'm open to experimenting.

    Anyone know of a good way to keep a leather jackets collar up? I have a horsehide biker jacket and every-time I put up the collar it just falls back down. Leather is too soft I guess. Attached some pics that best describes what I'm looking to achieve.
