Soooo, we're wearing a hat so we can have extra buttons for our Pea Coat and we ain't in the Navy even. OK, I'm in. Snicker, snicker
^ I think it would go rather well with my denim trucker jacket, Levi 501s, and Converse All-Stars. Prob'ly not my size though.
Normally I would never post a live auction. But I think it is safe to say no one here would want to buy this... so I ask some of you who may be more informed.... what the HECK is this thing? https://www.ebay.com/itm/Early-1800...793661?hash=item366f22ec3d:g:gBoAAOSwOA5fqa9a He is calling it a "Mesh Parson's Hat." The closest thing I can ind is a traditional Korean hat.
Over on the leather jackets threads is one in a similar vein to this WTF Hat thread. A while back this jacket was put up for, er, appraisal. I think i might have found the hat to go with it.
It took me a while. There's a fish known as a pollack and the Brits have a crude expression that's a profanity replacement for someone being stupid, we call them a pillock. Neither seemed to fit the bill so I Googled Pollack hat. Now I know.
Not being a connoisseur of American football, I know little of the game. I know even less of the players, but I have learned quite a bit about, one, Cam Newton. Can't say that I've heard of actor Evan Ross either, but I'm sure his name will crop up again, or at least his hat might. Is this a hat or a covid mask? Is this a stovepipe hat or maybe the owner washed his top hat and it shrunk.
Hi Unfortunately my contribution to the Tie Dye syndrome was tossed years ago. In the 1980's I purchased a pair of Tiger Stripe BDU Pants. Washing them made them into High Water pants dammit. I needed to paint the house, so they got worn for that. Grey, a funky tan color and some plain white were added to the Tiger Stripes. Later
I seem to have misspelled Pollock no worries... my Jackson Pollock joke may have been a bit abstract. my apologies on being a pillock
