Is this one of the “good” LVC jackets? It’s made in Italy.

I was thinking about quality mostly.Define 'good'
In terms of fit it has a bit of a 90s droopy shoulder vibe (which is currently back in fashion).

Some were, others weren'tWere vintage jackets made with leather that was dyed through? I'm wondering how authentic something like blackened brown vicenza is when used to make a repro. Thanks!
I think they are measuring down. Because my measurements are just right. I always send photos with a tape measure so that they can see how I get my measurements.Another (possibly dumb) question: I asked Aero for 26" sleeves and didn't confirm whether they measure straight down or around the curve. The jacket came 2" less than it should be if measured straight down but it fits. Why is this?
Why do they fit even though they are short of the specified measurement by 2” then? I’m so confused and I thought I understood basic geometryI think they are measuring down. I don’t own any shearlings but I don’t like the look of this. @MrProper has nice ones. Check his out.Thoughts on this jacket? I’m new to shearlings so can’t tell whether this is quality or not:

Sleeve length on its own doesn't mean anything, you need to take shoulder width into account as well. Why do they fit even though they are short of the specified measurement by 2” then?
Yeah but I don’t think the shoulder width is inordinate. I’ll check in the morning but the math isn’t mathing for me.Sleeve length on its own doesn't mean anything, you need to take shoulder width into account as well.
Have you asked the seller for measurements?Had a quick question. i took a suggestion and found a Schott 654 Cactus label size 38 available.
I'm normally a 40 suit jacket, and was wondering if you could share how these 654 jackets fit? Are they super slim or a little roomy? The measurements I was given was a 18-19 in shoulder to shoulder which works for me, and 20 inch pit to pit which should be decent. But every jacket is different and figured I'd ask you all.
Thanks
Yes, the measurements all sound like they will likely work, but I know every jacket is different. I have a RMC Bucoj100 in a 40 that fits perfectly. The measurements for this 654 sound similar to that but it's sized as a 38. The RMC has high arm holes giving it that "fitted" look. Not sure if the 654 does that which would help it not be too tight in that area. Just overall was hoping to get a sense of how this jacket fits? Sorry if that doesnt make a ton of sense.Have you asked the seller for measurements?
