Looks just like my schott a2 so I would say that it looks as it should.Hello, i have a question..i got me this A2 Schott jacket from Japan and it seems to have a broader cuff on the front bottom part than other A2's i've seen. The back cuff looks normal sized tho. Can someone confirm this is different or is it just because of the picture?
I’m a small guy too and the Japanese jackets are a good fit for me as well. I’m a size 38 generally but with schott I’m a solid 36 most of the time. What size is the schott a2? They run large in my opinion. I could easily be a 34-36 in that jacket. Thanks for your answers. Yeah i thought i better ask cause i've read somewehere that Japan got a lot of special (or unique) patterns, sizes and models from Schott. I'm a small guy with more or less an asian bodytype (myself beeing european) so i tend to go for the japanese fit more. Back in the day i had some Perfectos all from japan, which i really liked. Let's see if the A2 fits as well.
The one from the picture which i bought is 36 from Japan. I'm 5 feet.7 inches tall with around 132 poundsI’m a small guy too and the Japanese jackets are a good fit for me as well. Well i still haven't found definitive information about how the sizes and fit of japanese jackets are different. Some say they are but i'm not a collector and can't compare models. Somewhere i've read they are mor slim, or the sleeves are a bit shorter, stuff like that. It's easier for a european to get a japanese schott than an american one. Also i've seen that Schott offers european sizes, according to their european webshop.I’m sorry you did say that the jacket was made for the Japanese market.. please let me know how the jacket fits, I would be interested in one myself.
I usually only purchase used jackets, so I’m sure I drive the seller crazy with questions and pictures of measurements but I want the fit to be perfect. I’ve heard that the schott jackets made for the European market are not the same in terms of quality however I do not know that for certain. Have you ever considered Aero? In my opinion, the quality and fit doesn’t get any better. I have an aero rockafella and an aero hooch hauler and the fit is right on. Of course you can buy directly from their website and have it tailored exactly how you want. I got lucky and found sellers on this formum and the fit is so perfect!Well i still haven't found definitive information about how the sizes and fit of japanese jackets are different. Exactly and my kids think I am crazy lol.. it gets cold in my basement so I use that excuse! I have so many jackets and they all need some love lol@jeepTj98 that Aero looks good, and soft, like it's breaking in.
Dig it that you wear it almost everyday, even in the heat. I do the same with my jackets - ridiculous as it is I'll sit in my house all day working while wearing my jacket.
I literally just spent almost that same money on a Eureka grinder in Ferrari red - it does wonders to the coffee experience every morning.Man I’ve been wanting a couple of those jackets for a long time but I need to stop for awhile because my buying habits are pathetic! I’m really confused honestly as there are so many options. I’m using a hand grinder and have been using the same one for about 10 yrs. However I drink about 6 cups of coffee a day and the grinding experience isn’t as much fun as it use to be. Will that eureka grind a larger grind for a pour over? And I need a larger ground than that for my percolator in the morning.. that is the best coffee!!I literally just spent almost that same money on a Eureka grinder in Ferrari red - it does wonders to the coffee experience every morning.
