Saw this 2018 schott on eBay.

What is up with the colour? Is it because of the sun? Something else?

I need to restock my under-jacket t-shirts. I like slim fitting, with very short sleeves, a pocket, <$50 each, and a mix of white and off-white.

I’ve bought 3Sixteen in the past and they’ve been decent. I might also try Bronson’s USN Submarine shirt.

Anything else I should consider?

It could be the sun or it could be just the natural way that the leather is aging.. I like it, has character.

I really like gustin t shirts. They are slim fitting short sleeve and many with pockets.. kinda expensive but with lots of choices too. Heavy or thin and made very well. Quality in my opinion is top notch..

I'm getting more interested in leather police jackets (without any emblem or stitching etc. Obviously for the civilian market). I've seen some really cool models like the chicago police jacket but it's impossible to get something like that as European. Do you guys have some models/designs that you find cool.in particular? I would appreciate some photos (could even be "in action" on police officers).

I read an interview where he said he does. The jacket from the This Corrosion video was destroyed by the water.

I know excelled are generally know for their cheap jackets, but I saw this listing and was decently surprised by how the leather looks. Thoughts on this guys?

I’ve had a few of the older excelled jackets. Some I think were made by schott or at least that is what I got from studying this brand. I think when folks say that these jackets are a cheap jacket, I believe that is the 1980 and newer. The older jackets from the 60’s and 70’s were fantastic! On par with the schott perfecto jackets. They age beautifully and are very well made. As a matter of fact, I was experimenting at the time with hand washing and washing those jackets in the washing machine. You can’t hurt those jackets!

I can’t see the tag but the leather looks good for sure. And, these jackets are considerably less expensive. I see them on eBay occasionally for like $500. Don’t pay that. That jacket should be $100-$150 at most and well worth it. Can you post a picture of the tag?

Tag is super faded. Zipper is a 2-way clix

The jacket is goregeous, but I think i mayu pass on it. My wardrobe is full and it seems too similar to my brooks cafe racer

However, it does look thicker than my brooks...

I’m not familiar with that zipper set up but the leather on that jacket is beautiful.. the tag is hard for me to see, as I can’t see in my old age. I would buy that jacket if the price is right. I bet Terry Mitchel would know more about this specific jacket

I know what you mean.. I have too many as well. I like brooks but the jackets I’ve had has been thinner than the excelled jackets I’ve had. It’s the hunt and history of these jackets that I enjoy most. I can spend hours researching these jackets.
