IMO the oil-infused CXL is extremely resistant to stains and scuffs.

The biggest worry I have is I have some other boots (admittedly not CXL, and more casual stuff), where the top leather start to get scratched / scuff and you can see the fibrous leather texture underneath e.g. you can see the suede inside. To me that suggests, that the boot is going to be a lot less durable, and is something I want to avoid with these boots if possible^

Pushing this up. Anyone have any info?Does anyone have any guidance on when/if Freewheelers will start producing leather jackets again? I WTB a San Mateo in size 44, but there are zero FW jackets of any model available for purchase new.
Did Navy pilots wear L-2B or MA-1 flight jackets or was it just the USAF?
Just the USAF. (Btw if this could be moved to our general QA thread it would be great.)
Navy and AF procurement generally remained separate for a while despite the occasional attempts at combining.
Just them, but they should be able to because it's still pretty short. Can I move it or is that admin only?
What was the Navy equivalent of the L-2B?

I'll check my reference books and get back to you.

It's not just the AF that wears the L–2B and the MA–1, Army pilots wear them as well.
John Lofgren Monkey Boots Shinki Horsebuttt - $1,136 The classic monkey boot silhouette in an incredibly rich Shinki russet horse leather.
Grant Stone Diesel Boot Dark Olive Chromexcel - $395 Goodyear welted, Horween Chromexcel, classic good looks.
Schott 568 Vandals Jacket - $1,250 The classic Perfecto motorcycle jacket, in a very special limited-edition Schott double rider style. I was wondering about that too.Moved.
