I was used to getting comments on my hats, and now my ties are fair game.

Today I decided to wear a vintage tie to work. One of my colleagues, who only wears the latest High Street has to offer, saw my tie and commented "What is with that tie? It looks like it went out of style 50 years ago".

I said that he was very close, as it was from the '40s. lol

He didn't quite get it. Oh well!

I probably would have said it was 60 years old, but it's never gone out of style, then give his tie a glance, raise an eyebrow and say nothing. Maybe shake my head a little.
