Everyone knows the '50s as the decade of flecked "salt & pepper" suit fabrics, and the '40s as the gabardine era. But the '30s? Let us now praise that decade's fabrics.

And I think the first and third patterns create interesting optical illusions of bends where none exist. Very cool!

When BellyTank sees the middle pattern, he'll know exactly my thoughts at seeing it.

The fabrics are, yes... second to none... I just miss how well they used to tailor clothing back then. It would make you look better and not just drape off your body. I have seen alot of tailors get the body of a jacket right, though how many get the trousers right as well... You have to fight to get pleats that close to the fly nowadays.
