There is just something about 'all black' that will almost always win for me.

I'm usually the same way.

Jackets, shirts, shoes, boots, etc... however this type of "fur" is an exception.

The "bad thing" for me is, that "Levi" Europe got new, f....n' yummylicious Canvas-sherpas in stronegrey and SAND!

The "good thing" for me is, that they are surely the same (for me) heavy weight as their (Heavy)Denim equivalents, so in the end unattractive for me.

Yes but why? To me those are purely decorative and look silly when moved off the outer snap.

It's an interesting point, because the cut of type III jackets differs from brand to brand, from model to model.

Normally, I can set the straps on narrow position to have the waistband close to my back for weather protection. But sometimes, the cut is different and setting the straps on narrow position would be much too tight.

Yeah I find the Levi’s type three to have plenty of taper (and I never fasten the bottom snap).

Of course, I never close the bottom snap on type IIIs, too. It just wouldn't make any sense on these unelastic waistbands.

The last two inbound sherpas arrived. All of them are the same size yet they all fit wildly different. The QC isn’t great on these and I think barring the ability to try one on in store, the best bet is too order at least two and keep the best fitting.

I think the two “faded glory” sherpas are 12oz. The dark indigo is probably 9. It’s really thin.

For me, Heavy Denim is from 14 oz upwards.

On mine, you can see it with your own eyes. See the strongness? This can't be usual 12 oz Denim. And like I said, it's just size M and weighs 1.3 kilograms! I guess the jacket on 1 kilograms and the fleece 0.3 kilograms.

They believe, that skinny jeans will stop the gravity forever.

Nah, trying to start a "Denim party" wouldn't make any sense, today. The era of Denim is over for the masses. The 90s are over. Denim never fully regained from the big Jeans-Crisis in the late 90s.

This is too true. What helps a bit and for a while is ironing the fold the way you want it, but I've only tried this on a regular jean jacket, not sherpa. Comes out nice, though. I think you need to wear the hell out of it this way, then it'll turn out fine but that means living with the thing pictures above which is... Ugh.

Well... To be fair, skinny jeans are all but out. Nowadays, they all seem to be wearing those mum or dad cut jeans which are super relaxed, baggy fitting.

Nah, trying to start a "Denim party" wouldn't make any sense, today. The era of Denim is over for the masses. The 90s are over. Denim never fully regained from the big Jeans-Crisis in the late 90s.

90 is the last era, where people and clothes know their role in society, now everything believe in equality, denim jackets believe they can pass as formal clothes by having napkin stuffed on the chest pocket, dressy shoes want to have sneaker sole, sneakers want to be made from leather.... what a mess...

I agree. Similar to the waist adjusters at the bottom of the Aero Highwayman. They are too low on the jacket to do anything other than create a balloon effect.
