HAS THE VINTAGE MARKET GONE FROM A SELLERS TO A BUYERS MARKET?

It just seems like this 7 1/2 5o's or 6o's 3x, brown sweat, Stetson OR w/ embroidered liner in VGC would have gone north of $100, easy, a few years ago. Now, not so much? Or am I mistaken?
Wow, I can't believe that hat in that size went for so little. Shipping was quite high, but not so much as to render the hat price so low IMO.

IDK, but the pin in the crown, moth bites, possible nicotine staining and poor photo's probably didn't help the auction value.

I was going to bid on that one, even though it is a little on the big side for me. But, when I logged on eBay with about 10 minutes left, this popped up. http://www.ebay.com/itm/111880992626?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT
I'm halfway between 7-1/4 & 7-3/8. About 2/3 of my hats are 7-1/4. I jumped on it. I've been looking for a 100 with the case and insert. Just happened to be there at the right time.

It was also big for me but still wearable (same size as you).
I was aiming that one because the brim looked bigger than usual.

VERY nice pick up. The seller left a good deal of $ on the table with that listing title.
