I think there’s a decent hat there with some shaping and removal of the macramé band (looks like a standard two-cord western ribbon behind it).

Wow! Well you’ll definitely be able to make a lot of comparisons now. I wonder how it will stack up to the older 100s.

Stetson Diamante from eBay. I didn't think the seller would take my $1250 dollar offer, but he did!
I have been curious about the "Diamante" felt quality for a while now, but wasn't going to pay over five thousand to find out.

The seller just told me he decided not to sell the hat after all.
After I had paid for it he listed again, and I called him out on it. He took the second listing off, and just now said he decided not to sell it.
He has no previous sales, so I don't know if he is just inexperienced and made a mistake, or he's a fraudster.
A few minutes ago he cancelled the sale The reason given was a "problem with my shipping address", which is in Mission, Texas, where I have received many eBay items. So, the reason given is a lie. The seller's name is sunshi97. Beware.

I missed out on a pretty nice looking 3x Stetson 15 today, price stayed reasonably low and I put a a bid in with a little room a couple minutes before it ended and it got taken at the last minute. I should have made my bid higher. I hope someone around here got it.
