Aye, you can tell there's something off just from the pics. Bates are generally customs so they're even more of a gamble than most.

This thread has created two new considerations when shopping for jackets— the “I hope someone doesn’t post this steal on TFL and ruin my chances of getting it for cheap”, and the “I better hit BIN or risk it being posted on TFL and losing it.”

I just wanted to post two fantastic deals but figured I might ruin someone's hopes and dreams and now I don't know if I should do it...

But on the flip side - we may not ever have spotted them had you not posted them :)

I recently saw one without the coin pocket. Should have posted it but was running around. It may still be out there on eBay. Killer jacket.

I actually asked @Monitor to remove a post, but I still had 29 competing bids, which drove the price up.

  13. Yeah I don't get threads like this. We all have the ability to find deals on eBay or other avenues without alerting the heard to gallup up and add more bids.

We can’t all have our eyes on eBay, Etsy and other sites all day every day to catch every deal out there. I appreciate it when others post jackets that may not fit them but may fit me. And I’ve posted at least two jackets here that were too large for me but other Loungers bought for themselves. Personally, I’m glad to help others score deals.

This is easily one of the best threads going. I’d like to see it continue in the spirit of helping other members find nice jackets at nice prices.

I hear you. I try to focus on deals with a BIN. If I want it, I would buy it. If not, try to put it in front of folks that may be interested in it.

All for one and one for all, that’s the point of threads like this.

In other words - all make high biddings for one and that one is paying for that for all finally. Well, there isn't too much sense for any buyer in that case, is it?
