Take this for what it's worth, but I heard that Al's cut corners and their later jackets were not on par.

I heard that also- from GWEN owner of cal, she referred to ALS corner cutting because they didn't do the longer curve on the kidney panel ,(Gwen's answer when I ask about cutting corners). This is a styling choice, one thats better imo
