It will eventually become cheese cloth in that area. It won’t necessarily spread but it can’t be healed or fixed. The only option is to patch from the underside and seal the top or replace that panel (if it’s even possible).

Probably a bit high but not outrageous like some prices nowadays.

I actually like the collar. Reminiscent of some 30's collars. Don't really recall any Herc with collars like this.

@Bluechel The 60's Talon "long fan" main zip. Correct sleeve zips and positioning of the sleeve zips. The wind flap (shape and positioning). Correct chest pocket angles. Correct ending of the main zip at the bottom w/ front panels split out. Correct visible wind flap at the bottom when fully zipped up. Correct back design with arched bottom panel and shoulder gussets. Even the size tag and pocket lining material is correct. Literally every single detail. Only thing missing is the late 60's early 70's bull and cactus label.
