A real honest-to-goodness hand signed photo of Joan Crawford. :D

It says,..."Hello to Laura (?) from Joan Crawford".
Definately the real deal as the ink has rubbed off slightly from the "m" in the word from, and I can see the indentation of the pen on the photo's surface.
Looks to be vintage 40's or 50's.
As to it's value,... I could not hazard a guess. [huh]
I dare not say what I payed,...

Dated 1950

After a bit of research I am fairly sure this is a publicity shot for the 1950 Warner Bros. film, "The Damned Don't Cry". Judging by the hair, make up and wardrobe in this shot,....

Joan Crawford Factoid.

My research into the exact date for this photo yielded an interesting bit of information.
It turns out that Steven Spielberg's first job as a director in the early 70's,was an episode of Rod Serling's "Night Gallery" which starred Joan Crawford.
