FS: The Real McCoy's Buco J-24 (BJ21101) size 40 and 42

Hello All!

Previously put up a Delraiser that I decided to keep after giving the infamous J-24 a thorough try. The fit just doesn't work for me. Details for both below:

Size 40:
Bought off eBay in good, used condition. Received on 12/11/23. Only tried on a few times in the home. Shows some very light wear. Previous owner had pins put on lapels (8 small holes on the right and 2 on the left). For the most part they're not a complete eyesore but they're there. I was aware when purchasing and didn't mind it in person. Also comes with a Brand New with box detachable mouton collar from RMC (BA21101).
Asking: $1700 excluding shipping

Size 42: *Quick Sale before I process return
My 2nd attempt since the 40 didn't pass the hug test - Bought Brand New direct from RMC. Received today Monday, 12/18/23. Literally opened it up, put it on, and immediately knew it was too big. Back in the original coat bag, wrapping, and box it went. It's in perfect condition. Paid $2,540 excluding shipping as well as customs/duty tax from DHL. Great if you're already in the U.S..

Can you tell me the hem width of the 40. Its not on S&S chart

Laid flat and pressed: Pit to pit is 53 cm and the width of the bottom opening is 48.5 cm

Interesting. The p2p is a full inch narrower thans S&S measurement

I stand corrected; p2p closer to ~21.3" and bottom opening ~20". I initially just laid it flat and gently pressed out creases but I didn't account for the additional give when pinching the leather down on the edges. I'd say the measurements on S&S are accurate.

Thank you so much for posting. I hope friends can use this as reference for their projects. I truly encourage for members to make their own collars. It is truly not that hard.
