No experience with Hill's Hats, but since New Zealand came up, I found I have a Western Hat that is marked "Westminster by Treister" in the crown and a made in New Zealand tag on the sweatband. Don't know when or where I acquired it, but it's a short crown wool hat reminding me of "Snowy River".

I have a few of their military caps from the '50s- NZ Army Officer type.
They were/are a big supplier of military and uniform head wear.
From looking at the web site photos, those felt hats look quite average.
It's difficult to tell but they don't look as nice as Akubras.
It seems like they've re-launched, I thought they had disappeared.
Maybe I can check them out when I'm visiting my folks in December.
