I just bought one of the Pearson day bags. I purchased an Avro for full price just about three months ago so another jacket was out of the question no matter how good the price was.

I didn't bid on a jacket, but I did bid on one of the travel bags. I had already purchased one of the day bags. I didn't get a counter bid, but I did get an email saying thanks for bidding.

Hey @AllanP , yes, the process seems fairly straight forward. once a jacket was selected the choice was to either to buy it now or there was an option to make an offer.. i received a note back from Dave stating he will be reviewing all offers over the next few days and either accepting one or making a counter offer or flat-out declining the offer..
As for the jackets I made offers on two are borderline too small for me and the third I have already..( but the Orvis Version) so I kinda low balled each one and don't have high hopes of actually getting one. Maybe Dave is feeling Generous.. ( although I am sweating what to do if he accepts all three )
I really like that he offered this as well as putting these one-off jackets up for sale in the first place, I hope we see more of these sales in the future.

I actually for a second considered purchasing another one but thought best not to be too greedy and just go for the goatskin Grizzly. I know I'm probably going to get hit by customs so didn't want to end up paying 800€ in taxes for a couple of jackets plus the original price.

Can't wait to receive mine. I'm very excited.

I got the black horsehide heron and the deerskin, both sized 40. The deer skin varsity jacket is for my bro but I really like it. Super soft and really himel style.
