Just take a candle Johannes, worked fine for me a hundred times. A few strokes up and down then the zipper a few times up and down and you're done. Regards, Zaxxon
These are the kind of shots that should be on the Aero site, rather than the "armless mannequin" shots
I've long said that... I think in the past with so many custom orders it has not really been possible, but as they move towards a more 'stock' approach, I would tend to think they'd find it much easier to have modelled photos. I know one of the reasons I shied away from a Highwayman for a long time was the perceived boxiness of the design. When I was considering the Apprentice Made one, I looked for a long time at photos on here an the deep discount made me take a punt (I think also the softer, European steer, which hangs well in this sort of design). I love it now...
I understand that Aero is probably still super busy with emails, exchanges and everything, but how long does it take them these days to answer an email enquiring on jackets? Perhaps better to call?
I've exchanged quite a lot of mails with Holly from Aero. I've had to wait around a week or so for the answers.
Hello! Again I dig out this thread to show you what a great job Aero did on my replacement of the 1950's Flight Jacket (this time it is horse! Black front quarter horse hide!). It is a tag size 36 (shoulder: 18") with customisation of the sleeve length (27.5") and the body length (26.5"). No patch pockets, only the side entry pockets, inside pocket on the right side, name tag sewn in the lining under the original Aero label. For reference: Shoulders, around at armpit level 110,5 cm / 43.5” chest, around at armpit level (with half-breath) 96 cm / 37.8” Abdomen, above navel 83 cm / 32.7” Abdomen, pant waist line 85 cm / 33.5” Arm length, from snug t-shirt seam to wrist 63,5 cm / 25” Weight (U.S. pounds) 74 kg / 163 pounds Height (U.S. inches) 184 cm / 72.5” Have a look: Comments are appreciated! Kind regards, Johannes
Good to see replacements being received. I'm waiting for Holly to get back from vacation tomorrow so she can let me know when I'll be getting mine. Customs and Christine at Aero confirmed delivery of my original back to them on March 4th, but I was told I'd have to wait for Holly to "sort it out." I've got my fingers crossed. Congratulations, Johannes. Frank
We're pulling for you Frank. I really hope your replacement is everything it should be. Keep the faith! Regards, coffee
