How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

Just received a used 2022-production Rainbow Country G-1 in size 38 from Mercari. The goatskin's got a nice almost-black dark seal brown color and it doesn't have excessive squeak like my Buzz Rickson's M422 Monarch repro. Fit's nice n' snug for slender frame with a trim waist; while this ain't a sweater-ready jacket, the sleeve and body length is great for my 170 cm body (would not size up). The sleeves don't tunnel much and I'm not getting that issue where the front drop sticks out prominently while the waistband knit rides up your seat. I'd daresay this is my favorite trim G-1 style after experiencing Aeros, Buzzes, and a Johnson over the past few years. (By comparison, the Buzz M422 Monarch of the same size I have has a looser midsection fit plus fairly long sleeves and length)

I have been contemplating giving Rainbow Country a try. I was Initially looking at their Hercules model, but that has lead me to their cross zip model "All State" The more I look at it the more I want one. I like the chocolate brown core of the leather as well as the lining color. The metal studs look nice as well. Looking at measurements, it doesn't look to long. What do you guys think?

It's one of their most expensive models, and I find it quite unique, being a repro of a Sears Roebuck
I quite like it, looks great. The RC Hercules just looks extremely boring to me and I can't even explain why. Perhaps what I like the least from this one is the belt and yet it is enough to make it different than most other crosszips.

I agree with you on both points, Hercules is like the most normal looking jacket in some ways, but done to a high level. And yes the belt on the All State looks unusual to me, not exactly my cup of tea.

This is the particular variation of the Herc I'm looking at, it's a superXY store collab with slightly different details. There's a nice green one.

Take good care of that zipper. It is too bad the company does not spring for an old stock zipper. There are still some available for a big run production.

That model looks like a spit image of my RMCNZ. Beautiful jacket.

My new ELMC J-100 has arrived. I’ve been hitting the gym and outgrew my size 42. I can squeeze into it but it’s just not comfortable now.

This is me 20lbs lighter a few years ago in the size 42. Nice slim fit at the time.

I've been hitting the gym and now 20lbs heavier, this is my new size 46. A more relaxed fit and a lot more comfortable to wear, not looking too baggy I hope?

If anyone is interested, the size 42 is in the classifieds

Has anyone heard of a vintage Canadian maker called Oliver Spanner? I saw this interesting jacket from him / the brand, and wanted to get thoughts:

I've just won this Hein Gericke RMF20-RH off of eBay / London. I've never seen one before and to my eye it looks a little like a cop's jacket or similar but were that the case I'd expect the buttons to have an insignia but they don't. Looks like it might need a button or two tightened up (or maybe a back button replaced) and I should probably expect it to arrive smelling like pockets were used for cig ***** and a turd but it sure looks like a low wear time nice jacket for 24 GBP.

Do any of you recognize the jacket or have one?

Looks like it has a couple of spots on it just forward of the right pocket. Any suggestions for cleaning that off?

With a little more luck the epaulettes will hide the poor hanger choice.

I only want two. A classic Ramones-style black jacket and a simple, fitted cafe racer style jacket.

Unfortunately, I have to have them made to measure because of my muscle mass and naturally broad shoulders.

For now, I'm in the process of losing weight. I've replaced the gym with boxing. Just a few more months.

I received the buco j82 and tried it on.
It feels a bit big on me without zipping it. Zipping it up it fits pretty well.

Yes, this is a German police jackets from the 1980s. I don’t think the buttons were ever branded, but of course the jackets were patched with insignia like the Police coat of arms of the respective state, rank and name.

Hein Gericke was known for their motorcycle wear, but this jacket was strictly off the bike (the bike cops had bright green overalls that would be a dream in any contemporary *** club).
I don’t know if HG had the official contract to produce the jackets or if this is a repro. It certainly looks very close to the originals.
