A few ways to go
Needle and thread . . Easiest to use a curved carpet needle . .
Rubber cement . .but you'll lose some finish if you remove the cement . . .Use Barge or Shoe Goo for long lasting work!
Small snaps/press studs . . .like RAF wings on khaki drill bush jackets . .or even some barathea tunics . . Minimal invasion to your leather beach head . .
Paint directly on your jacket . . .
Chicago screws . . .Will poke holes in your leather . . .but secure and easily removable . .
Go modern with velcro . . .A few male velcro rounds should suffice on the jacket . . Sew or cement . . .
