I've had the Daks setup (still got a pair somewhere.... got two lovely pairs of Daks from ebay for about a fiver, but the carpet beetles killed the crotch of one; hoping the moths haven't made the other irreperable). I haven't had a major problem with them, though I didn't fully trust them without the belt or braces. Doesn't seem right, somehow. Still, I have a pair of black tie trousers that work on the same principle and they seem okay, so....
