Kepple & Kepple vicuna blend overcoat: how old?

I came across this Kepple & Kepple overcoat today, vicuna blend. There appears to be a lot of handwork on it. The best I can find out from Google Kepple had a store in the Empire State Building at one time, and from the tag, also in Greenwich.

So to you vintage experts, how close can we get to dating this thing?

Early to mid 1960s. Maybe very late '50s. Among other things, that post-1949 union label and the width of the lapels indicate the era. These coats are often found in vintage clothing stores, although most of them are cashmere w/o vicuna.

Lovely coat. I have a very similar one, similar era, from Saks 5th Ave.
