Vanson Ike proving too hot for daytime wear here now. My "heaviest" jacket by some margin to boot. Today was the goatskin Simmons Bilt J100 café racer as it was 14C to start off and 28C on the way home. Photo taken at our "Guinness" stop at a biker friendly pub on the Indian Ocean. The Guinness picture my poor attempt at an "art" shot... SPOILER ALERT same photo(s) used in other threads !
Lol I envy you for being able to drink beer during daylight. For me it literally needs to be after 11PM for it to start tasting drinkable.
I’m glad I’m nearly finished sober October,,I have a bottle of zacapa waiting to be cracked open,,keep your Guinness,,I would be farting all day long
That slang brings back memories of a trip I took to Italy in the early 90s for the youth soccer World Cup. In between games players used to go out to local pubs just outside of Florence. One night I walk in with some teammates and the entire Australian team was there drinking all sorts of goodness. We joined them and proceeded to rip up that pub, to the point that the locals and players from both teams were singing all sorts of drinking songs. Each team was assigned a contingent of Italian Carabinieri, who could only shake their collective heads at the debauchery. One of my fondest memories. I need to visit Australia one day.
Vanson perforated cafe racer today. 25C and muggy , rain on the way. Perfect jacket for today , "tres cool" on the move. Photo at our burger stop mid/late morning
Run south to the Fremantle docks this morning , windy day from the sea. Simmons Bilt J100 black goat café racer , perfect for the bike with the 2 way RIRI zipper. NOT the same photo as the WJAYWT thread so don't start !
If more is better...??? Nope. Not for me. Who's the maker/model, etc? Is this a Lambskin & zipper jacket?
Sorry. No. The jacket was only available for a short while through one of their vendors ( LegendaryUSA ).
The side lacing would be the killer forcme, though otherwise I quite enjoy it being a bit ott. I like the ciggie pockets on the upper arms, more useful than some of the other pockets. I also like those much longer sleeve zips, reminiscent of the Durable jackets.
Langlitz: The kid brought home his first bike, so I gifted him my Vanson Comet. We're doing a complete tear down and rebuild, so he'll have a little time to grow into the Vanson.
