ACE Cafe is good.
Nobody bought anything last time, so no pressure here. I also have no plans to buy anything, as I have other engagements regarding jackets
A couple of coffee's lunch & a few pints but no jackets for me
It will most likely be dinner, unless some of you want to start with lunch as well. We can easily include this in the itinerary
I had in mind Real McCoy's!
Nice shop, baulked at an MA-1 replica well North of £1000!!! Did make a purchase of a neckerchief & walked out with a Real McCoys bag
Ok, so it is looking like the best date for the meetup is on Saturday the 23rd of November! Who's in?
We are potentially doing:
- Shop tour
You can join at any point obviously
I'm going to have to miss this again, that weekend is my son's birthday.
Maybe next next time...
Well, most likely your son is going to have a birthday every year... not so sure about the meet up!
If he carries on being as cheeky as he's been lately, he might not even see another birthday!
maybe @Carlos840 can wear his Himel Chevalier...
Not sure about the 23rd.... will have to see nearer the time. I'm in Paris with work already for a chunk of that week, so I may not be allowed out to play.
Im free 23rd during the day, im in.
On a separate note - perhaps in addition, we could all meet up at Selvedge Run in the new year? I've started another topic here for your collective input https://www.thefedoralounge.com/threads/anyone-know-how-to-get-into-selvedge-run.98902/
A leather jacket would make a wonderful birthday present
Better start negotiating early
@Lit Up Selvedge Run would be a fun place to get in, pretty sure the exhibitors get some extra guest passes, but likely not enough for a group.
And how about those who have a grizzly wear it? Good way to get those who don't into the dark side
I'm just gagging for a Grizzly!
I've noticed a few Grizly-type jackets on the high street in recent months - faux sheepskins, but with body panels put in in reverse. It's interesting to see that inspiration come round in mainstream fashion, even if the quality is suspect.
I'm about that Saturday up in Shoreditch with the hound for the ELC 'pop up' and a pint. Let me know what time you'll be in that area, would be great to say hello
