Leftovers from yesterday, yum.
Salami pizza, it's sunday.
Mediterranean salad with feta cheese, cucumbers, red onion, fresh dill, and chickpeas with an olive oil and red wine vinegar dressing on flatbread.
Couple of Johnsonville pepper jack cheese sausages on hot dog buns and a tall Pabst from the Exxon down the street

Oatmeal, first time with brown sugar and that was DELICIOUS!!
Throw some cinnamon in with it next time and you'll take it up even one-more level.
Steamed mussels in butter/white wine/garlic with a fresh baguette and a really excellent bottle of Muscadet. Being empty-nesters has its bonuses!
Will be my favorite storebrand bio-wholegrain spaghetti with non-bio Bolognese sauce.
I enjoyed a very nice thing, I discovered in supermarket, last week:
Storebrand "4 cheese pizza". It's Mozzarella, Emmentaler, Edamer, blu mold cheese!!
Turkey and pepper jack cheese sandwich with dijon mustard, pickles, tomatoes, and lettuce.
Mashed potatoes with some fried herrings.
I created a new one, today:
Lightly saltened mashed potatoes, pressed flat over the whole plate, covered with twelve halved hard-boiled eggs. Yumm.
Home made szechuan chow mein made with chopped Italian sausage for the meat. I didn't have any noodles, though, so I served it over broken-up bits of matzo. Whatever.
I got the leftover "second" portion of my mashed potatoes, pure (with a glass of water), but with two Bismarck herrings for dessert, today. Works. Life's good...
Tomorrow will be Döner.
"Bismarck herrings for dessert -" something here is not computing. Either "Bismarck Herrings" are not what I think they are or "dessert" means something different in Germany than it does in the US.
Do you want them ON your mashed potatoes? I'm not. So, eaten after.
I am glad that we do not share an office.
