Got my new wire racks hung up finally. Series of 7 over my bed, two by the door. Still need another seven...or eight...or probably more.

I have started putting some hats on the wall that I am wearing most. It has freed up space by letting me put some boxes outside into storage. What I am using is command hooks. They are movable and you don't have to make any holes. I wish I would have done this a long time ago.

Built a hat rack a couple of weeks ago....saw one on the net that I liked......went to the shop with some oak, pine, a couple of saws, some screws, and the help of a buddy. Only have half of it filled........

(Perhaps the monstrous hat stand didn't get any love due to its . . . well, I don't really know. It's the only one of its kind on this planet, and positively exudes all things vital. Sigh. Just me, I guess.)

Here's my latest effort. I poured a rubber mold of this frog vase i found. The frog you see is cast concrete, and what elevates the hat is a piece of copper tubing with a clear-coated tee fitting (for weight distribution of the hat). Nice and weighty so it won't topple if someone slams a door. I can make a few thousand more, so if this creature appeals to you, speak up.

Oh, and the hat is an unspeakably awesome 50's Royal Stetson I got from Josh.
