My Hat Haul

I got to raid Grandpa's closet this weekend. Here's what I brought back:

Clockwise, from top center:
Dobbs Fifth Avenue, Euclid model. I'm not into the tweed, it reminds me too much of Bear Bryant, and I'm a Florida fan.

Dobbs Fifth Avenue, bought from Belk's In charlotte, NC. It is a little too small for me.

Brookhaven, made for Silverman's Men's Store, Gainesville, FL. Fits great, but I'm not a big fan of the stingy brims.

Bee Hats. This is my favorite and is the first one I will get fixed up.

Straw Fedora, unknown maker. It is a touch small.

Futura III. I don't know if that is the maker or model. It's a keeper, though, even with the small brim. It has a cool porkpie look.

All of them could stand a good cleaning, and a couple could use reblocking. Not a bad haul, though. I also got one of those straw golf hats with a cadillac band....good for football games, especially with a new Gator hat band.

Futura III is a wool hat made in the 1960-1970's by Bollman hats . The teardrop hat looks nice .
