I have a 1960's N-3B (that's an Air Force winter Parka with coyote fur around the hood) and would like to get it dry cleaned. However, I am worried about damage to the fur hood (I've read many horror stories here about dry cleaners). (I should add that I do not want to clean the fur).
Do you think dry cleaning would be safe?
And do you think that Dryel would be safe alternative for a more "gentle" cleaning (I do believe the company says not to use it on fur)?
