New Panador Panama

Here are a few quick & dirty iphone shots. Overall I'm very happy with the quality of this hat. This is my first Panama, but I generally don't spend over $100 on a straw hat. This one was just under that benchmark, at $95.







I like the somewhat open weave. It lets plenty of air blow over my dome!



Cloth sweatband and no liner, just that crown reinforcer.

It took way longer than "normal" to get this hat, a little over three weeks for an "in stock" hat. Panador said they've been having warehouse issues. That said, I still recommend Panador if you're after a budget conscious Panama hat.

I purchased a Panama hat from Panador about 2 years ago. Service and shipping was fine. It was a grade 8 Christy's wide brim. Inside it says it is a Kentucky Derby 137 product. Beautiful weave. It was on special for $100 and I took a chance. I was pleased.
