Jet Blue with a nose wheel stuck perpendicular landed at LAX.
Some burned rubber and scraped rims.
Move along folks, nothing else to see here.

It was picture perfect

Kept the nose on the centerline, the gear did not collapse. He used no reverse thrust upon "roll out" (scrape out!) to minimize loading on the gear. The plane burned fuel for three hours to keep it as light as possible, and his approach was a long straingh in final, to facilitate having a very stable, controlled approach.
I guess the Airbus cannot dump fuel. It was a great landing and a great job by the flight crew.

did you intentionally put the drinking smiling man beside the comment on pilots? If not it was kind of funny.. in an ironic way that is.

Kudos to that pilot! But 4 hours of coverage on local LA tv was a bit much...
