I thought maybe the reddish brown might have been the kangaroo color.

That reddish-brown ribbon looks a lot like the one I chose for a steel gray felt. What I like about it against the felt you've chose is it brings out the red tones.

The hat is a bespoke made by Gus Miller of Batsake's in Cincinnati. They may have the same source.

@Frunobulax is also a fan of Gus's.

I normally like contrast, but the green is a tad off.
If you want contrast go for more of a blue toned ribbon

Mike's vintage ribbon supply is a joy to behold. I found that the burgundy wide width (2"?) which I had to go with on my latest refurb totally changed the look of the original hat. I seem to remember the other ribbons being close in tone. My San Francisco Hatter went from being a grey hat to something much warmer/tan tones.
