Old ferry boat at Governors Island

Every time I've been to Governors Island I've wondered about the grand old ferry boat tied up at the back of the island. This explains it.
Not a very encouraging story.

What a travesty.
Meanwhile.. performers have to hold fundraisers to bring fun and life to the island while management are making wasteful and criminal decisions.
