Optimo sweatband material?

Last year I bought a chocolate brown, lightweight felt Optimo of the beaver/hare blend. The sweatband is burgandy and very soft.

This year I bought a black, lightweight felt Optimo of the beaver/nutria blend. The sweatband is black and noticeably stiffer than on my other hat.

Anyone know what kind of leather this is, and whether the two sweatbands may be made of different leather? Thanks...pwd

I'm not really sure on that one.
On all the Optimos I have bought, I have requested brown sweatbands.

You can call Graham, or Rundquist or Andykev can pitch in with their knowledge of of Optimos other sweatbands.

The brown ones I have are really spectacular for comfort.
