Just bought this 1930s Carl Ceschka Söhne Wien from Garret.
I really wanted to have a 1930s European hat of this quality. [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

It's so easy to buy the smaller sizes for a daughter... careful, I went nuts with hats for Lil' Fed.

I don’t think she’ll want more than one or two. This heather Champ cost $10...small headed folks have all the luck.

That's a beautiful thing Brent. I love that you get to share your love of hats with your daughter. Of course, there's also the fact that one man's daughter in a fedora is another man's future fedora customer. Sweet!

  6. Hat for her...box for you....WIN..WIN.....it does not get better!;)

Just bought this VS from Bill.
I am glad I kept forgetting to order one from Art before he retires. Luckily for me, Bill prefers wider brims.
I like the color, the liner, and the shape, plus there's no waiting.
    Thanks, Bill.
    Pics are Bill's.[IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

Fantastic, Garrett. You do have a sixth sense for finding these old ones. Great catch.

Just bought this Borsalino. I had been resisting it for a month. Gave up. This will be my first hat with a blue sweatband.[IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

Strangely, I was the only bidder on this hat. Maybe because it was listed as a woman’s hat?

    It’s not my size (it’s a 7 1/4) so it’s destined for eBay.

Jus bought this Stetson Twenty-Lite from @Signor Duke in the classifieds. He says that, although it is marked a 7 1/2, it fits more like a 7 1/4, and his measurements confirm it.
I hadn't seen one of these before. [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

If it would have been on eBay, I think I would have seen it. I already have two CCs, so I don't know if I would have bought it.
Was it in that site you told me about once, Brent? Good get!

Nice. I like the ribbon width. I may need to watch this pretty close.

  20. YES, I was looking CLOSELY at that hat.....then saw it WAS absolutely a 7 1/4.:rolleyes: I wonder if it got miss-tagged. It does happen, even "back in the day".
