Sitting in my perch for the first time in a couple months the first pic is what i see out my back door.
After 14 years, no longer do i see my girl in the following pics grace my presence nor sit at my feet. But grace me with her presence she did.

Wolf Creek. Wanders 80 miles through farmland. No, never, the corn field on the other side sits lower and takes all the overflow. Fish..yes, The water starts to clears up this time of year then the smallmouth bass start to bite. The fall is the best time for them. Catfish and carp most all the time. Biggest smallmouth I've caught 24"(3 1/2 pounds). About 18 years ago a boy caught (in the backyard) a 27" (6 3/4 pound) Northern in the early spring. The Neighbors used to put out limb lines and regularly catch 2-7 pound Catfish.

Very cool Melissa. Wildlife is nice to have around, provided they are not pet killers. We've seen a coyote wandering through our yard, not good. We have wild turkeys, white tailed deer, owls that live adjacent to our home, foxes, snakes, chipmunks (I despise them), squirrels, groundhogs. One of our previous dogs chased off the raccoons years ago and they never returned.

We keep all our pets safely inside. These are urban foxes, so I don't know that they'd go after my dog or two cats, but better safe than sorry!
