Helped my Dad cut two massive shade trees that had died last winter.
The only tradeoff to the loss of shade is better views of the sunsets...
Drinking coffee and checking in on the Lounge when I noticed this young fellow passing through (look left).
These Ozark hills are looking like the Smokey Mountains today.
Cold and damp in Iowa..
Living in the city, this is something I always miss... the green garden and camp fire at night on winter... those things are precious <3

Out my window this morning. Glad to see these Wild Turkeys making a comeback after excessive Spring flooding the last three years putting a hurt on the newborns.
Whilst the human animals are all locked up, The New Forest animals are showing that spring has definitely sprung. A big worry though is that next weekend, being Easter, and a public holiday, there will be many who flout the lockdown. It is tempting when a walk in The New Forest will show you that the animal life is just getting on with, well, life.
Oh they're all soooo cute!
