Agree. I just don't understand
Looks like a copy of the Trojan
Coach jackets are really cool!
Adjustable Costume is killin’ it!
Looks like Fardinse has some in stock. https://www.whitefeathermfg.com/produkt/freewheelers-winter-aviators-vest/
You didn't have to look too far. Whitefeather is just around the corner
Edit: false alarm, only size 40
yes, I had already found that too small
I'm re-watching Star Trek Enterprise and have just spotted some neat jackets I haven't seen before.
Mn. It looked too long to me at first, but I think, bearing in mind the removal of the belt detail, the problem is less length and more that it really needs the pockets moved slightly to readjust the perceived proportions.
The Aero model is one I love. It would be interesting to see a direct copy of a specific year model by comparison. Aero's is - per Aero's website - a sort of composite version, comprising all the best features across a period of several years and and around the late forties / early 50s. Very much the way Aero does things: making what was possible and could have been made back then without limiting themselves to what definitely was done. Which is what I love about the Aeros, but it'd be interesting also to see a "specific contract" version, so to speak.
I have a feeling the body is the standard length (and 'correct' for the model's frame), and that 'crop top' look comes from the jeans being cut in a contemporary fashion way, with the waistband four or five inches south of the model's actual waist. Iggy Pop can pull that off. The rest of us not so much. (Incidentally, I know you and I are on the same page about untucked shirts; I often feel that's caused by modern fashion cuts too. I've noticed a lot of shirt tails getting shorter in recent years to the point where it's not always easy to keep them tucked in in an actual waist-level waist band; I wonder if this lower waistband / shorter shirt is a big contributor to the normalisation of that look...).
On the long side to my eye, but I like the concept. This sort of thing (though likely synthetic) was all the rage among my female undergrads a few years ago.
Big fan of the wool / leather mix jackets there. A lot like some of the ones Aero have been making recently. Different vibe than an all-leather jacket, more like a wool jacket with leather-reinforced patches at areas that might be subject to hard wear. Sort of like a donkey jacket, but infinitely more stylish.
Nice pocket placement. I like that coin pocket type up on the breast.
This Attractions jacket has everything I like (and nothing else)
From BlackSun's Facebook?
IG, but yeah...same thing.
I really like it!
Owner is a fd of mine.
Nice! Classic late 40s Hercules. One of my favorite jackets.
I bought the Attractions grizzly from them last year through IG. Super smooth service.
Glad you are happy with the service. I have only bought a few magazines from him LOL. Great guy. Known him before he open shop.
Oh man, you have this bad boy too!? I wonder how come nobody picked up this style for a repro! It'd certainly be something new-ish.
No I don't own that jacket. This is my favorite of the Combo jackets.
The only thing is that single welt pockets would be so classy here
