Thanks to compadre @winterland1, I was able to nab this LW WWII era repop Peacoat.
That's a bad ass peacoat...of course, what else would you expect from Stu, huh? Seriously, a beautiful coat and I'm certain that it's top-notch construction.
Very sharp and something different.
Awesome. Both you and your son have good taste, and if that isn't love I don't know what is. Congratss.
I love it, your son is lucky
Hoping it fits him. It looks lovely. If by chance it doesn't fit, I'll flip it. I also got him a new LW jacket last month for a song on eBay. This will be his 3rd or 4th, and all of them I got for very little money. Thanks all for the compliments.
He models and acts and has a band, which means that it's feast or famine. We try to help with things like this so he puts up a good look when he needs to.
He'll be lucky to wear these for decades most likely and get his own vintage look. I started too late, so I'll be lucky to be able to accomplish this on my own
Really gorgeous jacket and while it's different it's not really that far out there - just taking the "flannel shirt as a jacket look" and dressing it up. Honestly reminds me of a fashion piece that would go for BIG $$. (And we know that being from LW it's built like a tank.)
What a great coat! Really original and nice.
You did well again. Great looking and functional as well.
That's really something. THe rockabilly crowd would kill for this!
That looks amazing! It would be a huge shame if it didn't fit.
He has many friends in that arena...he was part of that, but has changed things up a bit. Still I believe it will make him happy of she fits. It will makes someone happy anyhow.
