Pleated Hatbands or Puggaree source in Europe ?

I have been searching for a tread specifically dedicated to finding these specific hatband and specifically into Europe. I couldn’t find one. There is a very good reason for us Europeans to want to buy in Europe.

Shipping charges for something as, cheap, lightweight and flat , as a hatband can take outrageous proportions (some US shops have a shipping charge calculator and ask $54 for a $6 item, which, I think, is way past ridiculous). https://www.sye.com/customer-service/shippinginfo.asp

Not only, but we in the EU would, at least officially, be hit with an extra 21% VAT upon delivery, because VAT on parcels with declared value coming form outside the EU applies to the total sum (if above €30) of both shipping charges and cost making this even worse.

So, shopping outside the EU for these items is not really feasible. I'd rather not shop, if possible, on alibaba.

A Milliner’s supplies shop in the UK has had some puggaree but they are now left only with one model (on sale for £1!) in red and white ( not my cup of tea!).

I’ve emailed them and they answered that all the other colours were sold out , to which I commented that they obviously sell very well and maybe they should restock since they sell like hot buns. They agreed and promised to keep me posted but nothing has materialized on their site.

I can relate to this. Been searching for puggarees as well (the vintage ones look magnificent), but there are no European sources to be found. One of our fellow members was kind enough to order some for me and ship them over.
