These aren't technically new hats...but they're less than a year old and I'm posting them here for the first time so it counts...yeah? Yeah.

Both hats are from Goorin Bros. out of San Francisco. The gray woven-paper fedora, my warm-weather hat, was purchased at BlackBlue in St. Paul, MN last summer. If any of you gentlemen are in that area, I highly suggest checking the store out. Satchel is a doll, and while I can't remember the other gentleman's name, he's just fantastic as well, and they do a great job of procuring items that exude a classic Americana-workwear aesthetic. The brown hat pictured, which I am also wearing in the photo, I bought at the Goorin Bros. shop in Boston on Newbury this past autumn.

If you haven't been informed, Goorin Bros. is a really wonderful company producing some high-quality products. I own a smattering of ball caps by them, in addition to the hats shown here. They produce both men's and women's casual and dress hats, check 'em out!

Newly acquired Vintage Stetson,Believe this to be a early version of a strat although unmarked as such, originally had a thin ribbon on it . Replaced with vintage 1" ribbon and new wind cord, steamed rebashed, and light cleaning. I like the inside as it imparts the age of the hat nicely. Beautiful hand to the felt and I like this blue grey color , best of all its a 3/8 and fits perfectly .

I'm going to go out on a limb and guess Royal Stetson.

Stetson sold zillions (exact number of zillions unknown) of unmarked thin ribbon dress western hats in all quality levels during the 1940s-60s along with branded models such as Open Road and Stratoliner. This Royal DeLuxe Vita-Felt (sorry, can't find close-up photos) is from a similar era as your RS.

It's hard to identify a well loved hat by the flanging - it might well have been adjusted/modified by owners and hat shops several times along the way.

Very nice examples Alan , the felt on mine is very thin like a strat which is why I guessed as much,
Haven't handled a vita felt but your looks like a nice example.

Olive Green. Petite Cavanagh Edge. Likely 1936-42. Managed to remove most of the tight crooked telescope crease. More later at The Club.

hatophile, I know, right? I've only got 6 fedoras (3 straw, 3 other), plus a few hats I usually don't wear, and I bet my wife already thinks that's too many. It's kind of odd to see some people here getting a new hat (apparently) every day or few.
