Richard, Thanks! Yes Echter is Real Velour. The sweatband bow is missing. Also the original liner is missing. They probably look similar to this one.

I like it Steve. I think it's the same one I was tempted by recently. I passed it up as I had a couple of others in the pipeline and am really pushing my luck as it is. (Telling her they are advance Christmas presents!)

This one arrived yesterday as well, but needed a bit of straightening before pics.
It just looked like too much fun to pass up.

The Black Lancer by Stetson, in Genuine Panama.

I think that's a maple leaf on the crest, but being printed on a ribbon sweatband makes it kind of tough to make out clearly.
It's a stingy little dude at 1 3/4" brim. Nice fit. Great condition after a little TLC.

Another new straw for me, as well. It's still way warm enough for 'em down this way.

One of those chameleon like colors that looks brown in some light and green in other.

Might not be usual but it all depends on the owner to have a hat the way he wants.

Leave it!! That square crease was popular for western hats in the 50s. You've got a nice piece of history there.

Just got an insulated flat cap from Dale. It should come in handy for the few days of cold weather we get in the Atlanta area.

I had to search for it this morning and run back to work. I'll be creasing tonight and wearing tomorrow. Fits like a regular oval and I'm a long oval. I'll fix that . It's great. Yeah the postal worker left it not where he said he did. Great job on packing by the way!
