I originally planned to replace the ribbon upon buying it but now seeing it in person I quite like the patina... actually I love it and am definitely keeping it as is.

Needs a touch of love ... some steam and a brushing but what a beautiful piece

I was in Chicago last week and had an opportunity to cruise a couple of hat shops. I found this store named Sid's hats. They had a broad selection of hats and caps. Highly entertaining adventure. While browsing I kept coming back to this simple little Stetson. I really like this hat! Don't ask me why I just like it!
Stetson "Lamont" Sage green with a mossy brown tinge.

My very cool new "early thirties" custom fedora from Northwest Hatters. Mike did an outstanding job!

Silver Mist beaver felt, just a center dent, 2" black ribbon, 2-5/8" bound brim... and inside, a white liner and brown sweatband. (The color's accurate, that's a black A-2 jacket.) I've barely worn it yet and it's just a hair big - not loose enough to put anything behind the sweatband - and I'm sure the sweatband will conform with some wear.
