    That was a test. No tools when in blue screen.
    Anyway, here are pics;

    (I believe the little guy in the background is roughly the same vintage as the hat ---- feels like it, anyway)[IMG][IMG][IMG]

    For some reason I'm always attracted to the brown tone-on-tones. That is a nice one!

    Thank you, Stefan. It did indeed find a good home and a very appreciative one, too.

    Noticed these are up for auction at my local auction room...Dunn and Co Bowler and Homburg hat in original boxes.
    I'm off to have a look tomorrow.
    26.jpg 27_1.jpg 26_1.jpg 27.jpg I no very little about these hats but they're in mint condition...is it worth bidding ?

    I was a wee bit disappointed . I really liked it. This is the pitfall of buying onine. The only saving grace is that I didn't pay much for it and my daughter is interested in hats.

    It's great that your daughter can wear it. Hope she enjoys it.

    Thanks, Randy. Mogano is one of the better brown colours by Borsalino, with a nice rich reddish undertone (what do I know: I'm colourblind:)).

    Like the other have said: yes! Very good looking hats. Don't go overboard, but those are worth bidding on for sure.

    Yup.... there’s a vintage Bailey U-Rollit straw in there...
    ....[IMG][IMG][IMG]

    Guess it’s a good thing I only paid $9.67. I have a hard time resisting the cool things I grew up with from the good ole days. I’ll see what some steam & magic can do. However I don’t think I posses as much magic as the wizard Desert Dog does in restoring hats.

  18. I'd still be hitting the seller up for a shipping refund at least. That is unacceptable.

    A couple new arrivals. Both are 7 1/4 and are subsequently already listed on eBay.

    First is a Stetson St. Regis. This is the Royal Stetson De Luxe (as opposed to the newer Stetson Royal De Luxe). This gray homburg is in excellent shape; I just wish it was a 7 5/8.
