Excellent low-price princess, Tim. Looking forward to more pictures!

Thanks to Randall @Randall Renshaw for the heads up on this one on ebay. Got it for $12 ! I don’t think it’s ever been worn. It’s a 6-3/4 but couldn’t pass it up. It’s on the stretcher now, so hopefully I’ll post it in WHAYWT in a few days...

Wonderfully soft felt and a pretty cool color combo with the dark gray and chocolate brown ribbon, instead of black. O.P.S. Price tag still attached on the outside of the sweat.

2-3/4” cavanagh edge brim
5-1/2” open crown

Yep, that is an interesting hat, Brent, definitely a conversation starter. It would be interesting to find out more about it or that style. I wonder if might be a ceremonial hat of some sort. With the model name, wide ribbon, and bow, it almost has to be a man's hat.

This could just as appropriately be placed in the WTF Hats thread. This is the Anchor Man that I posted photos of last week. I’ve never seen another hat like it. For $12.18 including shipping I had to have it.

It’s got some impressive measurements: 6 1/4” open crown and a 3 3/4” deeply flanged brim. It swallowed my straight sided block with almost no resistance; it was originally blocked with very little taper. I’m not sure if the sweatband is leather or an imitation, but from the feel I know it won’t let me peak under it. Size is a generous 7 5/8 and fits me perfectly.

The weave is very open...about SPF 2. ;)
The weave gives it a delicate personality leaning towards feminine, but the dimensions, the 7 5/8 size, and the bow on the left makes me think it’s a man’s hat.

There is no doubt that this type of finish has a particular charm and it is increasingly rare to find specimens in good condition. Steve has the best collection seen so far.
Huckel Prima 4 R.jpg

Huckel "Prima" size 5 or 57 cm.
Huckel Prima 5 R.jpg

In excellent condition and ready to be worn by those who have a head of this size
Huckel Prima 2 tris R.jpg

The velour is magnificent, thick and very well preserved, and the hat has an unimaginable lightness.
Huckel Prima interno R.jpg

Built in Czechoslovakia and imported into France in Poitiers exactly some time after the Second World War
Huckel Prima etichetta carta R.jpg
For exact dating Steve will be kind enough to provide it :)
Huckel Prima 6 R.jpg

These are the measures: the brim are 6.5 cm, the crown 13 and the ribbon is 5 cm high.
Huckel Prima interno particolare R.jpg
I know I promised to let hats not of my size be avoided, but beautiful ones are hard to let go of

That one does look to be on great condition, I don't blame you for not passing it up.

I let myself be seduced by a magnificent Borsalino owned by Bowen color M. Agata and when I found a similar one on the Italian market I bought it
M Agata 1 R.jpg

Borsalino size 5 or 57 cm.
M Agata 2 R.jpg

The Borsalino has lost its lining over the course of its life and needs to be remodeled mainly because it "keeps the imprint" of the previous shape. Some problems also in the sweatband
M Agata etichetta carta R.jpg
The color of the felt is "M. Agata" the color of the ribbon "Coffee" and the type "Ecosca"
M Agata 4 R.jpg

These are the measures: the brim are at 6 cm, the crown at 12 and the ribbon is 3 cm high.
M Agata 5 R.jpg

Made in Italy and sold in Sardinia, a magnificent island in the Mediterranean, in the 1950s
M Agata negozio R.jpg
Also for this purchase the love for the hats that I like is worth, I hope it will make some loungers happy

Another great hat, Daniele. I like that coffee color very much.
