    You bet @rclark.
I’ve been waiting for a sunny day for pics that are representative of this hat so i could put it in the 100 thread, but not to be. I will though.
So here’s a few upon arrival and opening. What’s really impressive to me is the pristine case. Seems tough to find that.

Outstanding Mr B. Your hat looks way better than mine, and the case is too. Mine had a lot of rust on the hinges. You did good!! I love the 100 though. It is so easy to change the crease if one so desires. Some have used the term clay, and I think it fits.

My new Stetson Fortune and Glory arrived today. Great hat with a beautiful Tobacco color 100X felt. Pictures don't do it justice. Lightweight and comfortable.

Found this $4 Chamberlain the other day. Little beat up but interesting features and can't beat the price! Never heard of Chamberlain and can't find anything here on them. Really like the porportions.

Oh thank you for that Bob. I hadn’t paid much attention to the sale store. That was very thoughtful of you....as always Great Uncle Bob!

Two classics of timeless design: a Givi top case and a collapsible top hat.
A fitting hat to wear for Super Bowl Sunday.

  17. Found this Stetson 3X (with embroidered Last Drop liner) in an antique store yesterday. Not my size (of course), but it needs to get back out in the world doing what it was made to do so it will be moved on to a loving home.

  18. ^^^^^ Continued...

This inventory tag started in 1952 (?).

I think might be a '50s model called "Spanish Trail".

Not finding the model in a later (1956) catalog, but it may have evolved into a ladies' model only at this point. There are stampede string eyelets behind the sweat.

They did an outstanding job on the refurbish, however, it is not the colors I had asked for. I wanted a lighter brown ribbon and a brim binding that matched the felt. I am still pleased and would use them again. The price was not bad. I included a before picture for a comparison. It really don’t look anything like a modern Stetson anymore. I lost 1/4 inch off the brim; however, I gained some height on the crown.
