Here it is, bashed. It's a very stiff felt, but it turned out nice - no steam necessary, it fits perfectly and I think it's going with me into the Puyallup when it opens for pink salmon on August 15

I bought this summerhat as a lotery hat. Don't know anything about it, but i liked the vintage look of it when i pressed the 'buy button'. It's super light so i think it's made of baku straw, but i am not sure. Unfortunally no labels and no leather sweatband.
According to the seller it was made by a french hatmaker who made this at the Muget de Paris at the Rue des Gras in Clermont-Ferrand in France. But if this is true???? Who knows?

Here's one that's been sitting on my shelf for some weeks now (been too lazy to take the pictures). But here it is.
Echter Borsalino Cecosca in black. Size 61 with the bound brim at 6cm and the crown at 11cm at the center dent. This one has a lovely shark gill bow for just that little bit extra.

Nice find, Stefan. That's a super Borsalino for some lucky person with that size.

Exquisite address with a wonderful sweatband logo, too.

I was thinking the same thing….size 61 in a Borsalino…I know how they run small. Do you think, maybe…
Thank you, gentlemen. A possible trade is already in the making I'm afraid, Gary. I have a feeling it would be too large for you anyway.
