Vintage Dobbs Shantung in a homburg style -size 7 3/8-Mint. I love the quality of these finely woven low end hats, as they make
great where ever hats, no need to fuss or worry about them while they keep looking great. I particularly liked the crown shape as it fits my oval
head perfectly. This was a great find and easy on the pocket.

Open Road-style Panama Straw from Paris Hatters

It happened again - went in to have a hat cleaned and left with a new straw. These are beautiful hats that Abe told me he had made for Paris Hatters - very different from the Stetson straw OR.

Well, I think the weave is intended to be something Milan like, but the material is actually polypro, I believe. Nearly indestructible, if you keep it away from matches at least. Comfy, well ventilated and impervious to rain.

That is my beloved's handiwork, Randall. She conceived it, drew it, then painted the entire thing. Has made a big difference in the yard's appearance.

If I buy any more straws or milans, I guess this hat from akubra would have to be what I would want to own. Easy to find and really a great looking wide brim hat.
